Vegan Cafe Terra

Located in the heart of Mito City, Vegan Cafe Terra is a short walk from Mito Station's North Exit and close to tourist destinations, including Kairakuen and Kodokan. As Mito City's first vegan restaurant, you can try vegan versions of classic Japanese favorites like ramen and curry rice. There are also delicious salads and a range of vegan cakes.
The chef and owner Mitsuyo spent a year learning vegan cuisine in Kyoto, a city with a long history of vegetarian cuisine. He also has a qualification in plant-based and whole food cooking.
The restaurant has an English menu and is happy to welcome non-Japanese speakers.

Hitachi Wagyu Beef Restaurant Kikusui

This restaurant specializes in Hitachi Wagyu Beef and combines premium beef with affordable prices. Dishes include sukiyaki, steak, and yakiniku (grilled meat).

Suifuan Soba Noodles

Suifuan makes soba noodles using Hitachi Akisoba buckwheat flour produced exclusively at three farms in Ibaraki. The buckwheat is ground using a traditional stone flour mill, while the dough is hand-kneaded.
Suifuan’s must-try dish for first-time visitors is cold soba noodles served with a soy-based dipping sauce, duck meat, and vegetables.
