Kanasa-an Soba Noodles
Located next to Kanasa no Yu bathhouse, this soba noodle restaurant offers a range of dishes made with local buckwheat flour.
The soba noodles are made fresh from scratch daily by grinding buckwheat flour with a stone mill, hand-kneading the noodles, and cooking them on an order-by-order basis. The noodles are cooked in natural spring water from the Nishi-Kanasago area, said to be beneficial for the skin. Dishes also feature plenty of fresh, locally grown vegetables.
