Japanese Restaurant Kyoyuzen Hanamiyako

This authentic restaurant incorporates traditional Kyoto cuisine and Edo (the original name of Tokyo) cuisine. It is the first restaurant in Ibaraki Prefecture to be recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as a 'Culinary Masters', a nationally recognised award system for chefs. The owner, who has dreamed of becoming a chef since childhood, honed his skills in high-end ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurants). In 1993, he opened "Kyoyuzen® Hanamiyako®," where he traveled to production areas across the country to carefully select ingredients.
