Soba Dokoro Satomi

Hitachiota City

Northern Ibaraki

Japanese Food

The owner himself converted a 70-year-old traditional Japanese house into a soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant with a traditional garden. The special room, a renovated tea ceremony room in a detached house, offers a view of a magnificent pond garden and a good old-fashioned Japanese atmosphere.
The restaurant emphasizes seasonal ingredients; for example, in spring, the owner personally selects wild vegetables for tempura. Inside the restaurant, visitors can watch artisans handcrafting soba noodles.
