Tonkatsu Ton

Tonkatsu Ton specializes in deep-fried pork cutlets. Most ingredients are locally sourced, including rice and vegetables grown in Ibaraki.
In addition to pork cutlets, the restaurant offers a range of sake and wine. Food is served on Kasamaware, traditional pottery produced in Ibaraki's Kasama City.
Tonkatsu Ton is wheelchair accessible and provides menus in Braille and sign language.

This restaurant has been serving the highest grade of Hitachi Beef since it opened over 40 years ago. Hitachi Wagyu Beef is unique to Ibaraki, making it a must-try for visitors to the area!
Kurata is officially registered as a Hitachi Wagyu Beef specialty restaurant. This means that the beef can be traced precisely where and when it was produced. Furthermore, over half the menu contains Wagyu Beef dishes, including yakiniku, shabu-shabu hot pot, and steak.

Okukuji Shamo Cuisine Daikon

This restaurant specializes in Okukuji Shamo chicken, a local delicacy of Daigo. It is run by the owner, who has many years of experience working with the Okukuji Shamo Producer’s Association. The charcoal-grilled chicken includes rare cuts such as seseri (chicken neck meat), sori (the base of the chicken thigh), and knee cartilage, offering a plump and juicy texture. The samgye-tang (reservation required), made with a whole Okukuji Shamo chicken, is also exquisite. Be sure to enjoy it with carefully selected sake!
