From October to March each year, Mount Tsukuba Ropeway operates special nighttime services during the colder months. Visitors can marvel at the stunning Tokyo skyline at night, including lights glistening from the city center alongside Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree.

By public transport: From Tsukuba Station, take the Mount Tsukuba Shuttle Bus and get off at Tsutsujigaoka. The bus ride takes around 45 minutes. Night buses are infrequent, so please check the timetables before traveling.
By car: Exit the Joban Expressway at Tsuchiura-Kita IC and travel 25km on Route 125 towards Mount Tsukuba/Tsutujigaoka
