The center, located near Kasama Station, provides guidance to visitors while operating as a rental bicycle station.

A bicycle is an ideal transportation method for exploring Kasama, and the center offers reasonable options. The rental fee for an electric bicycle is 300 yen for the first hour. Afterward, 100 yen will be added every 30 minutes. The maximum fee is 1,500 yen per day.

Lake Senba

Located in the heart of Mito City, Lake Senba is a great place to relax for locals and visitors alike.
The lake is encircled by a 3-kilometer-long walking and jogging route near Kairakuen Garden and the Ibaraki Museum of Modern Art. It is the ideal route for a relaxing day of sightseeing. Bicycles and swan-shaped pedal boats are also available to rent. Moreover, there are several cafes on the lakeshore for a coffee or ice cream after your stroll.
Plenty of wildlife can be found around Lake Senba. Koi carp and terrapins inhabit the lake, while swans and other birds are seen swimming along the banks. Around 30 whooper swans make their nests at the lake between mid-October and March each year. Be sure to observe these swans from afar.

Atago Forest House (in Atago Tengu no Mori Park)

Atago Forest House, located near the summit of Mt. Atago at an altitude of 306 meters, was renovated and reopened in April 2024 within Atago Tengu no Mori Park as a base for hiking trails to Mt. Nandai / Mt. Wagakuni. In addition to a café with an observation deck, the design of which incorporates local Kasama pottery and Inada stone for the countertop walls and tabletops, it also has shower facilities.The park also offers various attractions for children, such as "Maruta log steppers" made of logs of different heights, a 100-meter roller slide, and more.
Mt. Atago, where Atago Forest House is located, is ideal for drives, hikes, and picnics with the family. In late March to early April, magnificent cherry blossoms bloom from the hillside to the top of the mountain.
