Kanefuku Mentai Park Oarai

The Kanefuku Mentai Park Oarai is a facility that includes a mentaiko factory, a factory direct sales store, a mentaiko gallery, and a cafe.
""Mentai"" refers to spicy cod roe, a popular food in Japan used as a topping for pasta, in mayonnaise, onigiri (rice balls), and more.
At Mentai Park, you can tour the factory to see the production process of mentaiko, taste freshly made mentaiko at the sampling corner, and enjoy mentaiko gourmet items such as mentaiko onigiri and mentaiko soft serve ice cream at the cafe. Isokura Brewery was founded in the 1800s with the aim of brewing the perfect Japanese sake for relaxing and drinking together. In fact, Inasato Sake is a local staple of Ibaraki Prefecture. The alcoholic beverage is made using locally produced rice and fresh spring water filtered through the granite rocks of Kasama City.

Yoshikubo Brewery

Yoshikubo Brewery has been making sake at their Mito Honcho location since 1790. The tasty beverage uses Mito City's soft water and top-quality rice produced locally in Ibaraki. Yoshikubo Brewery achieves its distinct acidity and savory flavor of their sake by allowing the koji (mold) to develop slowly during the brewing process.
The brewery is famous for its junmai daiginjo sake (top-grade sake), "Ippin." This beverage has received numerous awards, including the Gold Award for Sake.
