Hanayasatoyama is a glamping facility located on a hill in the Ibaraki Flower Park, famous for its roses. Surrounded by the serene nature of the mountains, the accommodation includes the wooden circular "Circle Lodge," which houses the reception desk and guest rooms, as well as outdoor tents. All lodgings are equipped with chairs, tables, BBQ grills, refrigerators, air conditioning, and a variety of other amenities, allowing guests to enjoy an outdoor stay with no need to bring their own gear.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities, such as firemaking and bonfires, secret base building, wildflower balm making, and more. Additionally, they can try various playground equipment, including slides and sky cycles.

Tama Umi Terrasse is an accommodation facility located by the sea, surrounded by nature. It offers fully equipped glamping cottages and camping sites inspired by the French countryside. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including bonfires, barbecues, seaside walks, and wood-chopping.
The café "Solamire," located on the premises of the accommodation facility, features large windows offering a close-up view of the ocean, as well as a beer terrace where guests can savor dishes made with seasonal local ingredients, including barbecues featuring Ibaraki’s Hitachi beef and Hitachi no Kagayaki pork. Tsukubasan Keisei Hotel

Tsukubasan Keisei Hotel is the nearest hotel to the summit of Mt. Tsukuba and is located right by the ropeway platform that ascends to the peak of Mt. Nyotai (Female Peak).

Kappo Ryokan Izumiso

Izumiso, a traditional Japanese inn next to Lake Kasumigaura, prides itself on its freshwater fish cuisine. Their simmered carp cooked with a secret sauce and unagi kabayaki (eel fillet skewers grilled in a rich sauce) are especially popular dishes. Guests can enjoy an extensive view of Lake Kasumigaura from their rooms or visit the Jomon Gallery on the premises where works from artists in the local and neighboring areas are exhibited. Izumiso is located near Ring Ring Road, the national cycle route, and is recognized as a cyclist-friendly inn. Not only can you rent and return your bicycle here (reservations required), but the inn also provides washers and dryers. Plus, there are some rooms where bicycles are allowed to be brought inside!

Hoshino Resorts BEB5 Tsuchiura

Hoshino Resort BEB5 Tsuchiura has its entrance on the same floor as the Tsuchiura Station ticket gates.

Certified as a "cyclist-friendly hotel," it offers rooms allowing guests to bring bicycles and some rooms even equipped with dedicated racks. The corridors are also wide enough to easily move bicycles around.

Kappo Ryokan Shiroyama

Shiroyama, conveniently located near tourist attractions, is a kappo ryokan* renovated from a historic Japanese restaurant. The inn offers a traditional Japanese-style accommodation experience focused on hospitality.

There are eight guest rooms, with six of them decorated in a style inspired by Kyoto culture. All rooms are equipped with private baths and toilets. Free WiFi is also available.
Guests can enjoy exquisite kaiseki cuisine in private dining rooms. There is also a large public bath in the ryokan, overlooking the Japanese garden and filled with fragrant rose petals.

Ocean Front Hamada Kan

Ocean Front Hamada Kan is a small, traditional Japanese inn that was renovated and reopened in 2014. It faces the ocean with Ajigaura Beach right nearby. The seven available rooms are spacious with various concepts. There are rooms with large windows and balconies allowing you to enjoy the sea, or with terraces on the hillside to gaze at the sky. You'll find yourself soothed by the ocean view and the sound of the waves in a private space.

Another charming feature of the inn is the specialized cuisine made with Ibaraki ingredients. The seafood is bought at the auction every morning by the owners themselves and served as dishes corresponding to the seasons. The crab seafood soup is especially popular. After your meal, enjoy latte art made by the young proprietress with SAZA COFFEE, a local blend. The inn has great accessibility to Hitachi Seaside Park, a scenic spot famous for its nemophila flowers and kochia bushes.

Tobitaso Inn

This charming simple seaside inn is known for its hot springs. The interior is filled with the pleasant warmth of wood. The breakfast is prepared with home-grown rice and vegetables, providing a wholesome experience. It is very convenient to use the municipal bus Kaiyu-go to reach the inn as there is a bus stop right in front of it. The natural hot spring inside the inn is a sodium chloride spring, known to be effective for muscle pain, joint pain, bruises, sprains, minor burns, and poor circulation-induced chilliness. This is a perfect option to relieve the fatigue after a long day.

Satoyama Retreat Hibiki / Mattary Small Farm in the Village

This is a farm stay in satoyama (traditional Japanese rural landscape), with the main house being a 300-year-old traditional farmhouse.
