Kappo Ryokan Shiroyama

Shiroyama, conveniently located near tourist attractions, is a kappo ryokan* renovated from a historic Japanese restaurant. The inn offers a traditional Japanese-style accommodation experience focused on hospitality.

There are eight guest rooms, with six of them decorated in a style inspired by Kyoto culture. All rooms are equipped with private baths and toilets. Free WiFi is also available.
Guests can enjoy exquisite kaiseki cuisine in private dining rooms. There is also a large public bath in the ryokan, overlooking the Japanese garden and filled with fragrant rose petals.

Oarai Yamaguchi-ro

Oarai, located about a 30-minute drive from Mito City, is known for its beautiful coastline. In summer, when the beach is open, it attracts many tourists and transforms into a lively hub of activity.
Each room at the Oarai Yamaguchi-ro Hotel is furnished with high-quality amenities. From the windows, guests can enjoy views of the sea framed by pine forests along the Oarai coastline and experience the refreshing scent of ocean waves and pine trees.

Kaiseki meals with abundant seafood ingredients and seasonal monkfish dishes (available only from mid-November to March) are also popular.

Tobitaso Inn

This charming simple seaside inn is known for its hot springs. The interior is filled with the pleasant warmth of wood. The breakfast is prepared with home-grown rice and vegetables, providing a wholesome experience. It is very convenient to use the municipal bus Kaiyu-go to reach the inn as there is a bus stop right in front of it. The natural hot spring inside the inn is a sodium chloride spring, known to be effective for muscle pain, joint pain, bruises, sprains, minor burns, and poor circulation-induced chilliness. Come and relieve the fatigue after a long day!
