Kanasa Shogakko

Kanasa Shogakko is an accommodation facility created from the renovation of the former Kanasa Elementary School. Surrounded by lush natural scenery, it offers the opportunity to enjoy hands-on experiences with nature and traditional rural life.

One of the highlights is a truly unique experience — staying overnight in a former school! Guests can stay in renovated classrooms and take part in various activities in the schoolyard and playground areas. The facility has 13 rooms and can accommodate up to 84 people.

A wide variety of activities are available throughout the year, including soba (buckwheat) noodle making, green soybean tofu making, stone oven pizza baking, bamboo crafting, bouldering, and ground golf. Seasonal experiences such as bamboo shoot harvesting, rice farming (planting and harvesting), and even enjoying a traditional drum-can bath allow for full immersion in rural life and nature.

Yokokawa Onsen Motoyu Yamadaya Ryokan

Yamadaya Ryokan is a traditional hot spring inn located in the peaceful Yokokawa Onsen area, surrounded by picturesque satoyama hills and tranquil rural landscapes.
The hot spring, first discovered in 1753, is an alkaline simple sulfur spring renowned for its beautifying properties. Known as a "Bijin no Yu" or "Hot Spring for Beautiful Skin," it offers excellent moisturizing effects and helps promote healthy circulation. COTON Hitachinaka Glamp Villa

COTON Hitachinaka Glamp Villa is located just a 5-minute drive from Hitachi Seaside Park, famous for its stunning nemophila blooms in spring and vibrant kochia bushes in summer and autumn.

Opened in 2021, it is the largest glamping site in the Kanto region, featuring 18 tents.
Guests can choose from single domes, twin domes (two single domes connected), and special cocoon tents. These three types of tents, differing in size and interior design, offer stylish spaces created by interior coordinators. Each tent accommodates 2 to 6 people.

Meals feature a highly praised fusion of kaiseki-style French cuisine and ethnic BBQ made with local ingredients.
