Ibaraki Prefecture have been blessed with rich abundance in nature for many, many years now. Summer

In the summer of Ibaraki prefecture, there are flowers such as hydrangea and sunflowers that are in full bloom.

In addition, there are also many festivals and fireworks festival as well that are held throughout the year which are particularly unique and dynamic in Ibaraki.

Autumn

In autumn, there are many great sightseeing locations throughout Ibaraki where you can view the red Kokia bushes and yellow autumn leaves on Ginkgo Trees, as well as maple trees with many colorful variation of leaves. In addition, it is the harvest season when the fruits like pears and grapes are ripe and sweet. Fresh harvested vegetables and Japanese rice are highly recommended due to their delicous, fresh taste.

Winter

Winter in Ibaraki prefecture is the season to taste many hot local cuisine and enjoy a nice hot spring bath. When it's cold, you can see a frozen icefall as well as other frozen waterfalls. In addition, Ibaraki have many well-known shrines for many locals and visitors alike to give a visit on the on the New Year as the first shrine or the first sunrise of the year.

Ibaraki Prefecture is known for its abundance in foods including agricultural products, fruits and seafood. There are recommended special local products such as soba, dried potatoes, and natto. There are a wide variety of selections of delicious sake and local beers are available as well.

Ibaraki Prefecture can be reach in about an hour from Tokyo and it is close to Narita Airport. There are many available public transportation such as trains and buses, so you can easily access from Tokyo. Furthermore, the Ibaraki Airport are accessible as well making it convenient for travellers. In addition to domestic flights, Ibaraki Airport also have international flights to China and Taiwan.
